Galio-Carpinetum oak-hornbeam forests
Description (English)
Quercus petraea-Carpinus betulus forests of regions with sub-continental climate within the central European range of Fagus sylvatica, dominated by Quercus petraea (Pal. 41.261). Also included are related lime-oak forests of eastern and eastern-central European regions with a continental climate, east of the range of F. sylvatica (Pal. 41.262).
